Samenvatting
Particulars is een spel met een unieke combinatie van arcade-actie en puzzelgameplay, dat zich afspeelt in de mysterieuze wereld van subatomaire deeltjes. Je neemt de controle over een enkele quark en moet de fundamentele krachten van het universum overwinnen. Andere deeltjes duwen en trekken aan je - je staat altijd op het punt de controle te verliezen en naar vernietiging te worden meegesleurd.
Verhaallijn
Het spel is doorweven met het verhaal van Alison, een jonge natuurkundige met een problematisch verleden. Haar reis door de subatomaire wereld is doordrenkt met herinneringen (zowel goede als slechte) en zal haar uiteindelijk naar verrassende onthullingen leiden.

There’s nothing quite like it out there – even SpaceChem is only thematically similar – so who knows, maybe it will awaken the passion of some budding physicists. It’s more likely, however, to merely serve as a warning against future game ideas based on subatomic particles.
Particulars is a game by smart people for smart people. It holds many instances of clever design choices that both entertain and educate, although its complex subject matter might leave some players in the dust.
