One indie game so simple yet so well designed that will give you guaranteed bursts of fun, enough to kill that boredom.

I liked how they give the ball a story and almost treat him as a character in the opening rather than just offering up the game as "move the ball through the level" style of plat former. I think this sets it apart from a simpler game to some degree but at the end of the day you are just moving a ball through a 2D maze. All-in-all, a fun time killer.

It isn't meant to be an adventure game so of course there is no story, but it gives you several hours of gameplay and creates a pleasant atmosphere and relaxing play.

Dark environment and traditional music are great backdrops for this relaxed physical arcade. It's not enough to be the game of the year but Nifflas did not disappoint us.

But if you can break through the periodic pain barrier that comes with such exacting physics-based challenges, you'll be able to bask in the warm glow of manly gaming satisfaction. And with around six hours' worth of it to roll through, it'll put hairs on your chest. Not so good if you're a lady, obviously.

Nightsky is another beautiful 2D game from Nicklas Nygren "Nifflas", where he shows his will to keep experimenting in the field he hopes to master. In other games he tried new formulas around exploration, creation and puzzles in his huge bidimensional worlds, but his new title is a different beast and he really focus on physic manipulation to solve puzzles through levels, adding and taking away mechanics to create a rich game with an excellent ambiance and music.

NightSky is a nice place to visit. The physics-based gameplay is clever, but the real draws are the beautiful scenery and the ambient electronic soundtrack.
