LOST ORBIT draait om de verkenning van de ruimte. Spelers nemen de controle over een eenzame astronaut die op een gevaarlijke reis vertrekt om zich weer bij zijn beschaving te voegen, slechts gewapend met een geïmproviseerde uitrusting en een meedogenloze geest. Zonder de hulp van zijn schip zal Harrison de zwaartekracht van planeten moeten gebruiken om te navigeren en zich door de ruimte voort te bewegen.

Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity is a decent game. The gameplay can get slowed down by the story at times, but when upgrading abilities and hitting that Zen moment while speeding through a level, it feels pretty great. Even if it is just a short time with the game, it’s still a pretty fun time. I would suggest picking it up if you are a fan of the trial and error style games like Velocity, Trials, and others where you don’t mind trying to perfect your time.

The game play is entertaining and the difficulty levels ramp up at a reasonable slope. The storyline doesn't bring much to the table, but the game mechanics stand on their own just fine.
