Samenvatting
Fantasy Grounds is een hybride applicatie waarmee je je eigen RPG spellen kunt spelen en maken. Het faciliteert dit spel en biedt een aantal optionele add-on Adventure modules die kunnen worden geladen en gespeeld met zeer weinig voorbereiding. Elk spel vereist een GameMaster (GM) en één of meer spelers. Spellen kunnen worden gespeeld in een sessie van een paar uur of in meerdere sessies gedurende een aantal dagen, weken, maanden of jaren. Een GM installeert de applicatie en kiest een spelsysteem naar keuze, dat we Regelset noemen. Fantasy Grounds komt voorgeladen met Regelsets voor FATE Core, Numenera, Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, Dungeons & Dragons 4E, Dungeons & Dragons vijfde editie en de Pathfinder RPG. Extra Rulesets zijn gratis beschikbaar en te koop in onze Workshop. Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, D&D vijfde editie en Pathfinder zijn goede plekken om te beginnen voor nieuwe GMs en voor mensen die nieuw zijn bij Fantasy Grounds. Deze Regelsets worden geleverd met een aantal basisbibliotheekmodules vol vaardigheden, spreuken, monsters en voorwerpen.

This software is tempting, but for many who buy it it is nothing but a time-wasting money pit of a rip-off. Finding games is pretty difficultThis software is tempting, but for many who buy it it is nothing but a time-wasting money pit of a rip-off. Finding games is pretty difficult for anything but 5e it seems, so you better already have a gaming group to play with you using it. Also, though the community has some wonderful elder statesmen members, the majority are pretty terrible and rude. In addition, few games last more than one session. There are a litany of other issues but i think this sums it up well enough, i have already wasted way to much time and money on this game to type any more about it.

Fantasy Grounds isn't a game in and of itself. But it's almost certainly going to end up being my most valued piece of Steam software.
