Verhaallijn
Vault 101 Jewel of the Wastes. Al 200 jaar lang heeft Vault 101 trouw de overlevende bewoners van Washington DC en omgeving gediend, nu bekend als de Capital Wasteland. Hoewel de VS door de globale atoomoorlog van 2077 bijna vernietigd is, genieten de bewoners van Vault 101 van een leven zonder de constante stress van de buitenwereld. Reuzeninsecten, Raiders, Slavers en ja, zelfs Super Mutants zijn geen partij voor de superieure Vault-Tec(R) techniek. Maar op een noodlottige ochtend word je wakker en ontdek je dat je vader de Overseer heeft getrotseerd en om onbekende redenen het comfort en de veiligheid van Vault 101 heeft verlaten. Je verlaat het enige thuis dat je ooit hebt gekend, en komt uit de Vault in de barre zon van het Wasteland om je vader en de waarheid te zoeken.

I found that I liked playing 3 MUCH more than I did 4. Total win for me. Can't wait to try more of the Fallout franchise!
When this game first came out, this game was a masterpiece. It still is. However since game bugs don't 'bug' me nearly as much as some people (a single game bug or quest hang can put them off entirely) - I still prefer new vegas. It's got more crazy random content.That said, in many regards this game has stood the test of time perfectly. And thanks to modding on the pc, you can play an all new game when or if you ever get tired of skyrim. This is an 8.9/10 now. And was a 10/10 on release. Rounds out to a 9/10 on metacritic.

I would recommend it to everyone, it's worth every coin. - Though there is a lot of problems with it and windows 7-64 bit, I will give it 10 out of 10, I'm playing it on 64-bit, it was hard to get to work, but now I can't stop playing. :)
