Samenvatting
Eterium is een ruimtevluchtsimulatie in de geest van 90's games als Wing Commander en X-Wing. Ontwikkeld door een tweemans team, heeft Eterium als doel de klassieke stijl van ruimtegevecht games naar het moderne tijdperk te brengen. Je speelt als piloot aan boord van de United Earth Alliance carrier Canopus tijdens een oorlog tegen een wreed buitenaards ras dat bekend staat als de Revi. Ervaar verhaalgedreven gameplay, geavanceerde kunstmatige intelligentie, procedurele missies en intense 3D-ruimtegevechten terwijl je je een weg vecht door meer dan 50 missies vol actie.

Eterium is a lovingly made tribute to Wing Commander. The combat itself is kind of fun fast paced action, but the audiovisual side is mostly so bad that it really detracts from the experience – and I still think that the original Wing Commander looks kind of nice.
If you are looking for a honest and worthwhile combat space-sim that will keep you in the cockpit for several hours, then Eterium will reward you and will make you forget its low-budget origins (simple graphics, monotonous music and complete absence of voice over). Such efforts require our support and we need to congratulate the three guys of Rogue Earth LLC for this result.
