Dragon Marked For Death is een side-scrolling 2D actie-RPG die solo kan worden gespeeld of met maximaal vier spelers in lokale of online multiplayer.
De speelbare personages in Dragon Marked for Death: Frontline Fighters zijn de keizerin en de krijger.
Je speelt als de overlevenden van de Dragonblood Clan die wraak willen nemen op het Koninkrijk Medius, dat hun thuis heeft verwoest en het Dragonblood Orakel, Amica, gevangen heeft genomen. Om de kracht te verkrijgen die ze nodig hebben om hun wraak uit te voeren, sluiten ze een pact met de Astral Dragon Atruum.
Gebruik je nieuw verworven krachten om opdrachten van dorpelingen aan te nemen en je status in het koninkrijk te verhogen. Hoe je deze opdrachten uitvoert, kan een direct effect hebben op de uitkomst van het spel.
Quests gaan echter niet alleen over het verslaan van vijanden. Je bewaakt de passagiers van een schip tegen monsters, zoekt naar verborgen schatten, redt een prinses uit een belegerd kasteel en nog veel meer!
Kies uit vier speelbare personages (Keizerin, Krijger, Shinobi of Heks) en versla je vijanden om ervaring op te doen en in level te stijgen. Als je in level stijgt, krijg je punten die je aanvalskracht, verdediging, behendigheid en andere parameters kunnen verhogen. Pas je personage aan op een manier die het beste past bij je individuele speelstijl!
Werk samen met maximaal vier spelers in co-op multiplayer-actie via lokale draadloze verbindingen, of ga online met Nintendo Switch Online en gebruik het wereldwijde matchmaking-systeem om met avonturiers over de hele wereld te spelen. Door samen met je groep een strategie uit te stippelen en samen te werken, kun je nog grotere resultaten behalen en nog betere beloningen oogsten!

This affect the gameplay and hence ruin the fun very much.
This is a type of game that, while experimental for the studio, really represents missed opportunities. Ranging from the extremely limited move set of the characters, lack of any new skills/moves, and a bit too much repetition, it leaves a strong feeling of how much better it could be. A heavy reliance on multiplayer likely dooms this, as the online population is relatively small, and the match-making is atrocious. Sad, as the graphics are great, and it could have been really fun with even a little bit more depth.
Dragon Marked for Death is a game that I'm sure many people will have an easier time getting into now, than if they had attempted to at launch. It's in a much more playable state, and is undoubtedly all the better for it.
Dragon Marked for Death on PC is the best way to play this game since the online infrastructure is far more dependable than its Switch counterpart. However, I don’t think the developers took full advantage of the port and failed to really sell this version of the game. Sure, it has controller support, but I was hoping to find improved framerates and resolution options. So if you’re looking for an addictive 2D action game to play with friends, Dragon Marked for Death has got you covered for many hours.
I have close to 600hours of Dragon Marked for Death on the Switch, so is fair to say I love this game and I know quite a bit about it!TheI have close to 600hours of Dragon Marked for Death on the Switch, so is fair to say I love this game and I know quite a bit about it!The only thing that I can say that is not positive, altought its not a negative, its that this its for everyone...if you dont like griding, repeating the same mission over and over again, this game is not for you!But if thats your thing, this game rocks! It has 6 characters (classes), 2 are brand new, tons of mission, co op up to 4 players and gameplay, oh my god the gameplay is super smooth and the controls super tight and responsive!If you need an easy comparison of what this game is, its a mix of Monster Hunter with Megaman Zero!The only reason I went with a 9 and not 10, is that I feel that INTI missed a perfect opportunity to expan the player base with no cross platform between PC and Switch...the player base will grow but it will be separated, playing the game on 2 different platforms! Who knows maybe in the future?Amazing game!
