I love this game! It had the interesting Day One edition also. I always loved survival horror of Dead Rising 3 with all the zombies.

At the end of my little escapade I was grabbed by a zombie and for 30 seconds it prompted me to shake the controller. I shook and shook as it ignored all my input and I died. Where does it respawn me? All the way back to where I started 3 hours ago. Not once did the game have to enough sense to autosave my progress. 3 hours of work lost. Not only did the game kill me unfairly, it doesnt even have the decency to save my progress. Do not buy.

Dead Rising 3 is an immersion in a real zombie apocalypse, the fact that the game on first impressions manages to surprise and comes to be quite fun, but it is something that does not last so long, and after a few hours played starts to get boring. One of Dead Rising problems is the plot, which is more or less clear and very poorly done and problematic, not to mention its very poorly developed characters and no charisma. At the end of all Dead Rising 3 is a game average fraught with problems and what was your biggest asset (yes, talking to the porralhada zombies.) Becomes a major source of stress and irritation.

Not that its hard, but its annoying, every stel you make thers 100 Zombies around you, you cannot drive, you cannot explore, you cant do **** without 100 zombies on your ass all the frikkin time. I loved killing them, I loved slaughtering them but dammit, give me a break, this is no fun.

Even if you play Dead Rising 3 together, it still quickly becomes stale and boring. New gadgets and weapons differ mostly by animation, while zombies are just an annoying obstacle on your road to the next waypoint.

Personally, I consider the story to be the most important part of most games (apart from racing games) and although Dead Rising 3 isn't original in story-telling it reminds me of GTA with its cut-scenes - I enjoyed them a lot. The other reason I liked the game was because it wasn't really scary - it was humorous - I could compare my overall feeling to the one I had watching Inglorious Bastards by Tarantino.Though at first I didn't like the countdown to the bomb detonation which was going to destroy the whole city I completed the game with some of the side missions 1 day before "day zero".If I were to change anything about the game I would alter the way you have to go around the map. Running (as there is no walking) or driving through hordes of zombies and killing them gets boring after some time (even though there are lots of tools you can use and combine to create something new). I wish there were some helicopters to fly around - especially at the end of the game, when the number of zombies are overwhelming. Roadblocks spoil the fun of driving. You have to constantly open your big map (by pressing TAB) to check how to get to the destination as there are no gps-like directions on your mini map.When it comes to performance I managed to play at max settings with i7 3770k, GTX 760 4GB OC and 16GB of RAM @ Full HD, but the framerate oscillated between 15 and 60fps - usually about 35fps. The reason I played at max. settings was that I didn't see much difference in performance after lowering the settings but there was a huge difference in quality of the picture.All in all, if it wasn't for the performance my score would have been 8/10 as there were hardly any "deal-breaking" elements that modern games are full of recently. Try it if you like GTA and zombie games, but you don't like being afraid. Two more things: the game can be saved at any time (except for bosses fights) and it doesn't support nVidia 3D Vision.

YAAAAAY! Can't be that bad right?..WRONG!! Game crashes every 10 minutes or so. I cant hear the voices of any character, my resolution isnt even supported (it's a normal 16:10 resolution) and the fps actually drop below 30 FPS whenever it feels like (I have WAY more specs than recommended). The game is blurry even with everithing maxed out and since I cant play it for more than 10 minutes without it crashing (fairly common problem as stated by dozens of post in the forums) I cant even tell anything about the story. Gameplay is ok, except for some clunky fighting mechanics (specially when you try to do a hard hit but end up stomping the floor because both are the same button) and HORRIBLE mouse acceleration that makes navigating (Pathetic FOV contributes too) and specially aiming authentic chores.So, another cash grab from capcom, another 0 in my list.

If you have the 'right' computer (which seems like a lotto draw) It's a great way to play the game. I managed to have little to no issue myself, luckily. That being said DR3 is a welcome addition to the series. Many many more zombies, a vast free-roaming area with interesting venues to explore. A majority of buildings are open and explorable as well, and the city is diverse with interesting sites galore. Crafting can be done on-the-fly, which will surely save you from time to time. If you were a fan of either of the first two games you'll find yourself pleased to see things have gotten even better.

Dead Rising 3's world is grey and bland, yes, but those aren't words that can be used to describe the frenetic zombie-culling action which forms the game's core.

Ever since the very first dead rising iv never really cared for them i mean i thought they were ok but i didn't in particularly care for mindlessly killing zombies through a rushed **** storyline. So they never had any interest to me. Even when xbox live was giving away Dead Rising 2 away for free i probably played for 4 hours, got bored and moved on. The games weren't bad, they just weren't my cup of tea. However this is not the case with Dead Rising 3. The storyline is fun and hilarious the weapons are outrageous, even-though the game takes well over 20 hours to be everything for one play through it goes by extremely fast and there are actual benefits for going back in and beating the game on nightmare mode. Also its simply amazing to play with another person in co-op. this game is definitely changed how i look at this franchise and i cant wait to see Dead Rising 4. spoiler alert!

The third installment turned out quite good and throws the series killing spree into an open world setting. It could use a little bit of tuning here and there but in overall, it’s so much fun!

I can understand some fans of previous games complaining about the time restraints not as tight as Dead rising 1 and 2 but there is a nightmare mode which reduces the time you have and also the zombies are harder and the safe points are reduced. Due to the mass of zombies on screen this does slow down the graphics but the gameplay of slaughtering zombies never lets up on latter in the game with thousands of zombies on screen and my enjoyment never stopped rolling them over. Needs coop to fully enjoy the game trying to beat each other wearing the silliest clothes and best combo weapon. The launch games for the xbox one this is the one I have enjoyed the best. Highly recommended playing coop you loose something playing single player.

It’s fun. It’s as fun, if not more, than any of the previous games. It’s not going to change the world ten times over, but for a launch title, this is where we should be.

Dead Rising 3 is a solid free roaming, with a lot of wicked weapons and many cool things to entertain the player. Unfortunately, the graphics are not something we can define as "next-gen".

Bigger and better than ever, Dead Rising remains true to its conception, and becomes one of the most entertaining games of the Xbox One. It is not the most shocking game in the visual field, but it's very, very fun, and that's what matters.
