Het is een mix van Tower Defense, RPG & RTS met wat shoot'em'up en Snake elementen.
Hoe ziet de gameplay eruit?
Beweeg Brad over het slagveld en ontwijk inkomende vijandelijke aanvallen en projectielen. Brad speelt constant op zijn axe-lute en genereert noten. Als hij stilstaat, loopt hij vast en genereert hij nog sneller noten. Deze noten fungeren als je middelen in het spel; je kunt ze uitgeven om solo's uit te voeren om eenheden op te roepen om je te volgen en voor je te vechten, en solo's om hun prestaties te verbeteren.
Navigeer je groep door de hordes vijanden, ontwijkend en aanvallend, en voorkom dat ze het gewaardeerde decoratieve kristal van je stad vernietigen. Overleef golven om verder te komen, verzamel buit en speel nieuwe eenheden vrij. Na je dood kun je de stadswinkel bezoeken om Brad, de stad en je volgelingen te upgraden, in de hoop dat je de volgende keer verder komt.
Verhaallijn
Je speelt als Brad de barbaar, die gewekt wordt door de geluiden van een belegerde stad. Vandaag is echter anders; Brad is moe geworden van het voortdurend vechten. De gebruikelijke sleur voor XP is saai geworden en hij heeft besloten zijn dromen na te jagen: muziek maken in plaats van bloed vergieten. Hij maakt een luit van een oude bijl en gaat zijn stad op de meest bizarre manier redden.

The difficulty system is a bit unbalanced and after you finish it there is not much else to do, but definitely recommended, specially with a controller!.Also you can see the programmers really tried to make a good job, and put lots of effort into it, even it there are some flaws it is worth playing!.
There is so much grinding here that it overshadows cute animations, nice music and original ideas. If you want to make a PC port of a game that relies on micro transactions, you have to go back to the drawing board and rethink the concept, otherwise just don’t bother.

I was surprised by how much fun I had with it.
