Samenvatting
Ato is een sfeervol, metroidvania, zwaardduel spel dat zich afspeelt in het tijdperk van het Feodale Japan. Het vertelt een visueel gedreven verhaal over een vader die zijn verleden heeft opgegeven om een leven in vrede te leiden met zijn vrouw en kind. Deze vrede wordt echter al snel verstoord als zijn kind van hem wordt afgenomen...
In Ato is elk gevecht een intens duel tot de dood. Voer riskante pareermanoeuvres uit, stuiter op je tegenstander, ontwijk hun aanvallen en speel nieuwe vaardigheden vrij om je arsenaal aan opties tegen je tegenstanders verder uit te breiden. Elk gevecht heeft zijn eigen persoonlijkheid en vechtstijl. Daag elke tegenstander uit, observeer en overwin ze terwijl je ernaar streeft je kind terug te krijgen van de clan die je ooit diende.
Verken kleurrijke en sfeervolle omgevingen. Verkrijg nieuwe vaardigheden om omgevingspuzzels op te lossen. Ontrafel het mysterie van deze wereld en ervaar een verhaal dat zonder één woord wordt verteld.

It’s clear that Tiny Warrior Games put a ton of effort into making a beautiful and emotionally charged game in Ato. The environments and audio design are worth it alone, but for platforming fans in general, Ato is a must-buy.
