Samenvatting
De demo van een gratis te spelen visuele roman die zich afspeelt in een wereld bevolkt met honden. Je speelt als een Shiba Inu genaamd Syd die na meer dan tien jaar te zijn weggeweest terugkomt naar haar thuisbasis Shiba Island. Ze ontmoet oude vrienden en nieuwe uitdagingen.

Verhaallijn
Wanneer Syd de Shiba Inu na tien jaar afwezigheid terugkeert naar Shiba Island, zet ze een keten van gebeurtenissen in gang die het leven van alle honden die ze had achtergelaten op zijn kop zet. Ze krijgt weer contact met haar oude vriend, Max, en ontmoet onderweg een mysterieuze Labrador retriever genaamd Quei-Li. (Wat doet een Lab eigenlijk op het eiland?) Zij zijn haar enige overgebleven bondgenoten terwijl ze probeert het verleden te overleven waardoor ze het eiland in de eerste plaats moest verlaten.

While it wasn’t what I was expecting, A Summer with the Shiba Inu has enough working in its favor. Instead of hitting a crowded beach, why not spend part of your summer respecting social distancing by curling up with this visual novel. Plop on your reading glasses, overlook the pacing inconsistencies, and be charmed by Syd and her canine friends. Keep an eye on Quill Game Studios, too.
A Summer with the Shiba Inu has an intriguing premise with a curious story. However, because of the engine limitations and limited nature of presentation and choices, it might only appeal to those who want a short visual novel with an interesting hook.
